Frequently Asked Questions
Here’s what to know before you clip in.
Is StarCycle beginner-friendly?
Yes. All levels are welcome, and our instructors offer guidance and modifications throughout class.
What should I bring to
class?
Just yourself and water. Towels are provided, and water is available for purchase. Cycling shoes are mandatory for class – you’ll get shoes for free your first time. For future rides, you can rent or buy a pair.
Do I need to arrive early?
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early, especially for your first ride, so we can get you set up and comfortable
What if I’m late?
Riders who are more than 5min late are not admitted. Classes with waitlists are filled in time for class to start, and those who aren’t there may lose their bike
What kind of shoes does
StarCycle use?
Our shoes use Delta Look cleats. You can rent or buy a pair for class. *Price varies by studio.
I don’t like loud music. What do I do?
Our classes can get loud. We have ear plugs available at the front desk if you are sensitive to noise!
What if I’m not “in shape”?
StarCycle is about showing up— not keeping up. We are for everybody and every body™, and we’re here to help you feel good in yours!
I have an injury. What do I
do?
Come early to class and let your instructor know! They can adjust certain moves for you to keep you safe and comfortable.
Is there childcare?
Yes!! We take care of your little ones while you take care of yourself. Childcare is craft-based.
